Text

Subdivision 1.Account established; appropriation.

(a)The hospital directed payment program account is created in the special revenue fund in the state treasury.
(b)Money in the account, including interest earned, is annually appropriated to the commissioner of human services for the purposes specified in section256B.1974.
(c)Transfers from this account to another fund are prohibited, except as necessary to make the payments required under section256B.1974. Subd. 2.Reports to the legislature. By January 15, 2027, and each January 15 thereafter, the commissioner must submit a report to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction over health and human services policy and finance that details the activities and uses of money in the hospital dire
