Text
Subdivision 1.Establishment.
The commissioner of human services must establish a mental health certified peer specialist grant program to provide funding for the training of mental health certified peer specialists who provide services to support individuals with lived experience of mental illness under section256B.0615.
Subd. 2.Eligible applicants.
An eligible applicant is a licensed entity or provider that employs a mental health certified peer specialist qualified under section245I.04, subdivision 10, and that provides services to individuals receiving assertive community treatment under section256B.0622, intensive residential treatment services under section256B.0632, adult rehabilitative mental health services under section256B.0623, or crisis response services under section256B.062
