Text
Any adult who requests mental health services under sections245.461to245.486must be advised of services available and the right to appeal at the time of the request and each time the individual community support plan or individual treatment plan is reviewed. Any adult whose request for mental health services under sections245.461to245.486is denied, not acted upon with reasonable promptness, or whose services are suspended, reduced, or terminated by action or inaction for which the county board is responsible under sections245.461to245.486may contest that action or inaction before the state agency as specified in section256.045. The commissioner shall monitor the nature and frequency of administrative appeals under this section.
