Text
(a)The secretary of state shall adopt rules according to the Administrative Procedure Act establishing uniform recount procedures. All recounts provided for by sections204C.35,204C.36, and206.88, shall be conducted in accordance with these rules.
(b)Notwithstanding Minnesota Rules, part8235.0800, the requirement that ballots be recounted by precinct means that a recount official shall maintain the segregation of ballots by precinct but the recount official may recount more than one precinct at a time in physically separate locations within the room in which the recount is administered.
