Subdivision 1.Authorization. A political subdivision may provide interstate assistance pursuant to section192.89. Subd. 2.Liability. Employees or officers of a political subdivision providing assistance under section192.89are "employees of the state" as described in section3.736. Subd. 3.Limitation. When providing assistance under section192.89, a political subdivision or its officers or employees are not liable for any act or omission made in good faith or for the maintenance or use of any equipment or supplies used in connection with the assistance. "Good faith" does not include willful misconduct, gross negligence, or recklessness.
