Text
All public service corporations doing business within this state are required to pay their employees at least semimonthly the wages earned by them to within 15 days of the date of such payment, unless prevented by inevitable casualty. Such wages less any voluntarily authorized payroll deduction set out in section181.06shall be paid in cash, or by checks convertible into cash at full face value thereof, without any service, exchange, discount, float, or other charges, at a bank designated by such public service corporation located in any city in which the employee to whom the check is issued is employed or into which such employee is required to go in the performance of work for the company issuing the same.
