Subdivision 1.Establishment. To facilitate the discharge by the state of its obligations under this chapter, there is established a revolving fund to be known as the state compensation revolving fund. This fund is comprised of the unexpended balance in the fund on July 1, 1935, and the sums which the several departments of the state pay to the fund. Subd. 2.Commissioner of management and budget as custodian. The commissioner of management and budget is custodian of this fund. Subd. 3.Compensation payments upon request. The commissioner of management and budget shall make compensation payments from the fund only as authorized by this chapter upon request of the commissioner of administration.
