Text
For purposes of this chapter, a member of a bomb disposal unit approved by the commissioner of public safety and employed by a municipality defined in section466.01, is considered an employee of the Department of Public Safety solely for the purposes of this chapter when disposing of or neutralizing bombs or other similar hazardous explosives, as defined in section299C.063, outside the jurisdiction of the employer-municipality.
