The compact administrator provided for in section171.50, article VII, is not entitled to additional compensation on account of service as administrator, but is entitled to expenses incurred in connection with the duties and responsibilities as administrator, in the same manner as for expenses incurred in connection with other duties or responsibilities of employment. The compact administrator shall represent this state or shall appoint a representative for this state in the Driver License Compact Commission, and that commission has the authority to formulate procedures for exchanging information, as provided in section171.50, article VII.
