Provisions of this chapter that relate expressly to enhanced drivers' licenses or enhanced identification cards apply only to drivers' licenses within the meaning of section171.01, subdivision 31a, and identification cards within the meaning of section171.01, subdivision 31b, unless otherwise expressly provided in statute.
