Subdivision 1.Applicability. The definitions in this section apply to sections17.352to17.354. Subd.

2.[Repealed,1996 c 310 s 1] Subd. 3.Fur-bearing animal. "Fur-bearing animal" means a fox, mink, fitch, chinchilla, karakul, marten, nutria, or fisher that is the second or later generation raised in captivity. Subd. 4.Fur farmer. "Fur farmer" means a person engaged in breeding, raising, producing, and marketing fur-bearing animals or the products of fur-bearing animals.
