Subdivision 1.Definitions. As used in sections16C.32to16C.35, the following terms have the meanings given them, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

(1)"acceptance" means a formal resolution of the commissioner authorizing the execution of a design-build, construction manager at risk, or job order contracting contract;
(2)"agency" means any state officer, employee, board, commission, authority, department, or other agency of the executive branch of state government. Unless specifically indicated otherwise, as used in sections16C.32to16C.35, agency also includes the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities;
(3)"architect" means an architect or landscape architect registered to practice under sections326.02to326.15;
(4)"board" means the state Designer Selection Board, unless
