Text

Subdivision 1.General requirements and procedures. The commissioner shall issue special veteran contribution plates or a single motorcycle plate to an applicant who:

(1)is a veteran, as defined in section197.447;
(2)is a registered owner of a passenger automobile as defined in section168.002, subdivision 24, recreational vehicle as defined in section168.002, subdivision 27, one-ton pickup truck as defined in section168.002, subdivision 21b, or motorcycle as defined in section168.002, subdivision 19;
(3)pays a fee in the amount specified for special plates under section168.12, subdivision 5;
(4)pays the registration tax required under section168.013;
(5)pays the fees required under this chapter;
(6)pays an additional onetime World War II memorial contribution of $30, which the depart
