Text
The commissioner of transportation, as a condition of awarding a transportation construction contract in the taconite tax relief area, may require the contractor to hire a certain percentage of workers for that contract whose principal place of residence is in the taconite tax relief area. Taconite tax relief area means the tax relief area defined in section273.134.
