Subdivision 1.Membership. The Behavior Analyst Advisory Council is created and composed of five members appointed by the board. The advisory council consists of:

(1)one public member as defined in section214.02;
(2)three members who are licensed behavior analysts; and
(3)one member who is a licensed psychologist and, to the extent practicable, who practices applied behavior analysis. Subd. 2.Administration. The advisory council is established and administered under section15.059, except that the advisory council does not expire. Subd. 3.Duties. The advisory council must:
(1)advise the board regarding standards for behavior analysts;
(2)assist with the distribution of information regarding behavior analyst standards;
(3)advise the board on enforcement of sections148.9981to148.9995;
