The state Board of Physical Therapy established under section148.67shall administer sections148.65to148.78. As used in sections148.65to148.78, "board" means the state Board of Physical Therapy. The board shall:

(1)adopt rules necessary to administer and enforce sections148.65to148.78;

(2)administer, coordinate, and enforce sections148.65to148.78;

(3)evaluate the qualifications of applicants;

(4)issue subpoenas, examine witnesses, and administer oaths;

(5)conduct hearings and keep records and minutes necessary to the orderly administration of sections148.65to148.78;

(6)investigate persons engaging in practices that violate sections148.65to148.78; and

(7)adopt rules under chapter 14 prescribing a code of ethics for licensees.
