(a)All assisted living facilities must meet the following dementia care, mental illness, and de-escalation training requirements:
(1)supervisors of direct-care staff must have at least eight hours of initial training on dementia topics specified under paragraph (b), clauses (1) to (5), and two hours of initial training on mental illness and de-escalation topics specified under paragraph (b), clauses (6) to (8), within 120 working hours of the employment start date. Supervisors must have at least two hours of training on topics related to dementia and one hour of training on topics related to mental illness and de-escalation for each 12 months of employment thereafter;
