(a)The facility shall ensure that tests under sections144.7401to144.7415are performed if requested by the emergency medical services person or emergency medical services agency, provided the conditions set forth in sections144.7401to144.7415are met.

(b)The emergency medical services agency that employs the emergency medical services person who requests testing under sections144.7401to144.7415must pay or arrange payment for the cost of counseling, testing, and treatment of the emergency medical services person and costs associated with the testing of the source individual.

(c)A facility shall have a protocol that states whether the facility will pay for the cost of counseling, testing, or treatment of a person executing a citizen's arrest under section629.30or acting as a Good Samaritan
