Text
Subdivision 1.Contracts.
The commissioner of health may contract with third parties for services necessary to carry out the commissioner's activities where this will promote economy, avoid duplication of effort, and make best use of available expertise.
Subd. 2.Grants; gifts.
The commissioner of health may apply for and receive grants and gifts from any governmental agency, private entity or other person.
Subd. 3.Committees.
To further the purposes of sections144.695to144.703, the commissioner of health may create committees from the membership and may appoint ad hoc advisory committees.
Subd. 4.Coordinating rules and inspections.
The commissioner of health shall coordinate regulation and inspection of hospitals to avoid, to the extent possible, conflicting rules and duplicative inspec
