Subdivision 1.Hospital data.
The commissioner of health shall monitor the provision of subacute or transitional care services provided in hospitals. All hospitals providing these services must report statistical data on the extent and utilization of these services on forms supplied by the commissioner. The data must include the following information: the number of admissions to and discharges from subacute or transitional care beds, charges for services in these beds, the length of stay and total patient days, admission origin and discharge destination, and other information required by the commissioner to assess the utilization of these services.
