Text
Subdivision 1.Applicability.
For the purposes of sections144.492to144.494, the terms defined in this section have the meanings given them.
Subd. 2.Commissioner.
"Commissioner" means the commissioner of health.
Subd. 3.Joint commission.
"Joint commission" means the independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies health care organizations and programs in the United States.
Subd. 4.Stroke.
"Stroke" means the sudden death of brain cells in a localized area due to inadequate blood flow.
