Text
Subdivision 1.False statements.
A person who intentionally makes a false statement in a certificate, vital record, or report required to be filed under sections144.211to144.2131or144.216to144.227, or in an application for an amendment thereof, or in an application for a certified vital record or who supplies false information intending that the information be used in the preparation of a report, vital record, certificate, or amendment thereof, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

A person who, without lawful authority and with the intent to deceive, willfully and knowingly makes, counterfeits, alters, obtains, possesses, uses, or sells a certificate, vital record, or report required to be filed under sections144.211to144.227or a certified certificate, vital record, or report, is gu
