Subdivision 1.Applicability. The definitions in this section apply to sections137.61to137.65. Subd. 2.Biomedical science research facility. "Biomedical science research facility" means a facility located on the campus of the University of Minnesota to be used as a research facility and laboratory for biomedical science and biomedical technology. A hospital licensed under sections144.50to144.56is not a biomedical science research facility. Biomedical science research facility includes the clinical research facility defined in this section. Subd. 2a.Clinical research facility. "Clinical research facility" means a facility located on the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota to connect a broad array of clinical research units and activities from across the university, providing
