Subdivision 1.Campus parking authority. Notwithstanding section169.966, a state college or university may adopt and enforce policies, regulations, or ordinances for the regulation of traffic and parking in parking facilities and on private roads and roadways situated on property owned, leased, occupied, or operated by the state college or university. Subd. 2.Fines; fees. A state college or university may collect a fine and a towing fee for a violation. Money collected under this section by a state college or university is annually appropriated to the state college or university for parking lot maintenance, improvement, and policy enforcement.
