Subdivision 1.Time reporting. As provided in Executive Order 96-2, the board, in consultation with the commissioner of management and budget, may develop policies to allow system office or campus employees on salaries, as defined in section43A.17, subdivision 1, to use negative time reporting in which employees report only that time for which leave is taken. Subd. 2.Travel policies. The board may adopt policies for colleges and universities to approve and administer travel arrangements, other than reimbursement, for employees on campus, and for the system office to provide the same services for employees in that office.
