Text
(a)The Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, consistent with section122A.09, subdivision 10, paragraph (e), must provide an alternative preparation program allowing individuals to be certified as a career and technical education instructor able to teach career and technical education courses offered by a school district or charter school. The Board of Trustees may locate the first program in the seven-county metropolitan area.
(b)Consistent with paragraph (a), the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, in consultation with the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board, must develop the standards, pedagogy, and curriculum for an alternative preparation program to prepare qualified individuals: to attain cer
