Subdivision 1.Scope. The sections referred to in this section are codified outside this chapter. Those sections classify health regulatory data as other than public, place restrictions on access to government data, or involve data sharing. Subd. 2.Health occupations data.

(a)Health-related licensees and registrants.The collection, analysis, reporting, and use of data on individuals licensed or registered by the commissioner of health or health-related licensing boards are governed by sections144.051, subdivisions 2 to 6, and144.052.

Subd. 2.Health occupations data.
(a)Health-related licensees and registrants.The collection, analysis, reporting, and use of data on individuals licensed or registered by the commissioner of health or health-related licensing boards are governed by sections144.051, subdivisions 2 to 6, and144.052.
(b)Health services personnel.Data collected by the commissioner of health for the database on health services personnel are classified under section144.1485.

Subd. 3.Nursing home residents.
Access to certain data on assessments of care and services to nursing home residents is governed by section144.0721, subdivision 2.

Subd. 4.Rural hospital grants.
Financial data on individual hospitals under the rural hospital grant program are classified under section144.147, subdivision 5.

Subd. 5.Certain health inspections.
Disclosure of certain data received by the commissioner of health under sections144.50to144.56is governed by section144.58.

Subd. 6.Public hospital meetings.
Data from a closed meeting of a public hospital are classified under section144.581, subdivision 5.

Subd. 7.

Subd. 7a.Facility requirements.
Data provided to, filed with, or created or obtained by the commissioner of health under section144.7065are classified as provided in section144.7065, subdivision 10.

Subd. 8.Health test results.
Health test results obtained under sections144.7401to144.7415are classified under section144.7411.

Subd. 9.Nursing home noncompliance.
Data from correction orders of or notices of noncompliance by nursing homes are governed under section144A.10.

Subd. 10.Home care and hospice provider.
Data regarding a home care provider under sections144A.43to144A.47are governed by section144A.45. Data regarding home care provider background studies are governed by section144A.476, subdivision 1. Data regarding a hospice provider under sections144A.75to144A.755are governed by sections144A.752and144A.754.

Subd. 11.Health facility complaints.
Information gathered by the director of the Office of Health Facility Complaints is classified under section144A.53, subdivision 3.

Subd. 12.Ambulance service data.
Data required to be reported by ambulance services under section144E.123are classified under that section.

Subd. 13.Review organization data.
Disclosure of data and information acquired by a review organization as defined in section145.61, subdivision 5, is governed by section145.64.

Subd. 14.Family planning grants.
Information gathered under section145.925is classified under section145.925, subdivision 6.

Subd. 14a.Minnesota Responds Medical Reserve Corps.
(a) The sharing of data maintained by the commissioner of health on volunteer health professionals is governed by section145A.06, subdivision 6, paragraph (c).
(b) Criminal history record data on Minnesota Responds Medical Reserve Corps volunteers are classified under section145A.061.

Subd. 15.Mortuary science interns.
Data collected in case reports filed with the commissioner of health by mortuary science interns are classified under section149A.20, subdivision 6.

Subd. 16.Funeral establishments.
Data on individuals in annual reports required of certain funeral establishments are classified under section149A.97, subdivision 11.

Subd. 16a.Prescription electronic reporting system.
Access to data in the prescription electronic reporting system is governed by section152.126.

Subd. 17.

Subd. 18.Rural health cooperatives.
Data collected from health plan companies and providers for purposes of approval of rural health cooperative arrangements are classified under section62R.09.

Subd. 19.Quality of care complaints.
Quality of care complaint information gathered under section62D.115is classified by section62D.115, subdivision 4.

Subd. 20.Insulin safety net.
Data collected relating to an individual who seeks to access urgent-need insulin or participates in a manufacturer's patient assistance program is classified under section151.74, subdivision 11.
