No person shall be accounted a qualified teacher until the school district or charter school contracting with the person for teaching services verifies through the Minnesota education licensing system available on the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board website that the person is a qualified teacher, consistent with sections122A.16and122A.44, subdivision 1.
