Subdivision 1.Definitions.

(a)For purposes of this section, the terms in this subdivision have the meanings given.
(b)"Agreement" or "business subsidy agreement" means a business subsidy agreement under section116J.994that must include but is not limited to the specification of the duration of the agreement, job goals and a timeline for achieving those goals over the duration of the agreement, construction and other investment goals and a timeline for achieving those goals over the duration of the agreement, and the value of benefits the firm may receive following achievement of capital investment and employment goals.
(c)"Business" means an individual, corporation, partnership, limited liability company, association, or other business entity.
(d)"Capital investment" means money that
