Subdivision 1.Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species. The commissioner of natural resources shall cooperate to the fullest extent practicable with the Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species to ensure development of standards for the control of invasive species that are broadly protective of the state waters of Lake Superior and other natural resources. The commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency shall serve as the alternate to the commissioner of natural resources if necessary. Subd. 2.Cooperation with other state agencies. In developing the permit process and any standards established under sections115.1701to115.1707, the commissioner is encouraged to consult with the commissioners of commerce, agriculture, natural resources, and any other agency that the commissioner
