Text
Subdivision 1.Publication requirements.
The petition shall be published in each county in which the lands to be included lie, in a newspaper of general circulation published in the county, once each week for at least two successive weeks before the time the petition is filed with the court together with the list of names of the petitioners and their addresses and land owned. Any owner of land within the area to be included, who did not sign the petition may file a written protest with the court as provided in section110A.14.
Subd. 2.Notice; certain cities and districts.
Prior to being filed with the court, a map of the proposed district shall be sent by certified mail to each city with a population of 20,000 or less if the proposed district comes within one-half mile of the city's bounda
