Subdivision 1.Scope.
The definitions in subdivisions 2 to 6 apply to sections10A.175to10A.177.
Subd. 2.Agent.
"Agent" means a person serving during an election segment as a candidate's chairperson, deputy chairperson, treasurer, deputy treasurer, or any other person whose actions are coordinated.
Subd. 3.Candidate.
"Candidate" means a candidate as defined in section10A.01, subdivision 10, the candidate's principal campaign committee, or the candidate's agent.
Subd. 4.Consulting services.
"Consulting services" means the following services involving campaign strategy: polling, communications planning and design, advertising, and messaging.
