Subdivision 1.Definition. The term "repair" used in this section means to restore a work of improvement or part of it as nearly as practicable to the same condition as when originally constructed or subsequently improved. Subd. 2.Maintaining projects. After the construction of a project is completed and accepted by the board of the county or district board having authority over the project, the county board or district board shall maintain the project or the part of the project that is in its jurisdiction and provide the repairs required to keep the project efficient. Subd. 3.Repair authority. The county board or district board shall have the powers and duties of the drainage authority under sections103E.701to103E.745, except as provided in subdivision 4.
