UNIFORM CRIMINAL EXTRADITION ACT (EXCERPT) Act 144 of 1937 780.23 Costs and expenses. Sec.

23.In all extradition cases the expenses therefor shall be paid out of the county treasury in the county wherein the crime is alleged to have been committed. The expenses shall be the fees paid to the officers of the state on whose governor the requisition is made, and all other necessary and reasonable expenses in returning such prisoner.
