MICHIGAN UNIFORM MUNICIPAL COURT ACT (EXCERPT) Act 5 of 1956 730.510 Jurisdiction of successor judges. Sec.
10.The judges of any such municipal court shall in all respects be considered the successors in office of the several justices of the peace whose courts are consolidated by this act, and shall have and exercise the same powers and authority in respect to all judgments rendered and matters pending before such justices of the peace as is by law conferred upon successors in office of justices of the peace in such city.
