JURY TRIALS IN JUSTICE COURTS (EXCERPT) Act 288 of 1929 730.266 Justice may order jury impaneled. Sec.

16.Nothing in this act contained shall prevent any justice of the peace, when no jury is in attendance, in his discretion and in order to avoid hardship, from delay, from ordering a jury impaneled in accordance with the method provided by law to secure a jury in trials before justices of the peace in townships.
