THE PATERNITY ACT (EXCERPT) Act 205 of 1956 722.725 Reference to mother as parent of child in records, certificates, or other papers. Sec.
15.In a record, certificate, or other paper made or executed requiring a declaration by or notice to the mother of a child born out of wedlock or otherwise requiring a reference to the relation of a mother to such a child, it shall be sufficient to refer to the mother as the parent of the child. An explicit reference shall not be made to illegitimacy.
