THE PATERNITY ACT (EXCERPT) Act 205 of 1956 722.722 False complaint; penalty. Sec.

12.Any person making a false complaint under this act as to identity of the father, or the aiding or abetting therein, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. This section shall not apply to an authorized official of the department of social services who in good faith filed a complaint under this act based upon information and belief.
