CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT PREVENTION ACT (EXCERPT) Act 250 of 1982 722.603 State child abuse and neglect prevention board; creation; exercise of powers and duties; performance of management functions; appointment and qualifications of executive director; staff. Sec. 3.

(1)The state child abuse and neglect prevention board is created as an autonomous agency within the department of management and budget. The state board shall exercise its powers and duties independently of the director of the department of management and budget except that budget, procurement, and related management functions shall be performed by the director of the department of management and budget.
