CHILD CARE ORGANIZATIONS (EXCERPT) Act 116 of 1973 722.112a Child caring institution, foster family home, foster family group home, child care center, group child care home, and family child care home; individual certified in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation; applicability of MCL 722.125. Sec. 2a. (1) A child caring institution, foster family home, foster family group home, child care center, group child care home, and family child care home shall have individuals present, as prescribed in the appropriate administrative rules, who have current certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation obtained through the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or an equivalent organization or institution approved by the department. (2) Section 15 does not apply to this section.
