TRANSFER OF JUVENILES BETWEEN INSTITUTIONS (EXCERPT) Act 84 of 1949 720.601 Transfer of juveniles from one state institution or agency to another. Sec.
1.A person who has been committed by the probate court before January 1, 1998, or the family division of circuit court on or after January 1, 1998 or a court of general criminal jurisdiction to an institution or agency of the state which is authorized to receive juveniles under the direction of the former department of mental health, the department of community health, the department of corrections, the former department of social services, or the family independence agency for the purpose of treatment, or training, or both, may be transferred from that institution to any other institution or agency of the state, if it appears to the satis
