RECORDING JUDGMENT AFFECTING TITLE TO REALTY (EXCERPT) Act 5 of 1873 565.401 Judgment relating to realty title; copy recordation; effect; social security number; removal. Sec. 1.

(1)If a final judgment is rendered in any suit or action at law that affects or relates to the title of real estate, by a court with competent jurisdiction, a copy of the judgment, duly certified by the clerk of the court and under the seal of the court, may be received and recorded in the office of the register of deeds for the county where the real estate is situated. When recorded, the judgment has the same effect as evidence and notice of title as the recording of deeds and other conveyances, and the register of deeds is entitled, for the recording of the judgment, to the same fees as for the recording of dee
