COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINERS (EXCERPT) Act 181 of 1953 52.201a Deputy county medical examiner and medical examiner investigators; appointment; qualifications; approval; duties of investigator. Sec. 1a.
(1)The county board of commissioners may appoint as a deputy county medical examiner any person meeting the qualifications as required by this section and approved by the county medical examiner. Deputy county medical examiners shall be physicians licensed to practice within this state.
(2)The county medical examiner may appoint medical examiner investigators to assist the county medical examiner in carrying out the duties required by this act. The county medical examiner shall determine the qualifications of the medical examiner investigators, taking into consideration the person's education,
