CEMETERY CORPORATIONS (EXCERPT) Act 87 of 1855 456.26 Assessment; notice; payment, enforcement. Sec.

26.Within 1 month from the time of making any assessment, the clerk of the corporation making the same, shall cause public notice of the same to be given, in such manner as the board of trustees shall direct, directing each member of such corporation to pay his assessment to the treasurer of such corporation within 30 days from the date of such notice; and such assessment shall be, and hereby is declared, a personal liability against such member and the payment thereof may be enforced by action of debt or assumpsit in the name of such corporation.
