CEMETERY CORPORATIONS (EXCERPT) Act 87 of 1855 456.19 Reincorporation under act; lot owners in public burying ground, incorporation; transfer of rights from municipalities. Sec.
19.Any burying ground corporation heretofore organized under any law of this state, upon complying with the provisions of the preceding sections of this act, shall possess all the powers, and be subject to all the restrictions of corporations originally organized under this act; and the owners of lots in any public burying ground in this state may associate together and organize themselves into a corporation under the provisions of this act, whenever a majority of such owners shall take the proceedings provided by sections 5, 6, 7 and 8, and thereafter other owners may become members of such corporation by a vote
