SUMMER RESORT AND ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATIONS (EXCERPT) Act 39 of 1889 455.72 Highway assessments; expenditure. Sec.
22.All moneys assessed, levied and paid upon the property of such association for highway purposes, including labor tax or assessment, shall be expended and laid out upon the highways and streets upon or running across the lands of the association at such time and times, at such place and places, and in such manner as shall be directed by the board of trustees, or by the association's superintendent of the grounds: Provided always, That such expenditure shall not in any manner do away with, lessen or abridge the jurisdiction and control of the association or its trustees over or upon such streets and highways hereinbefore granted.
