FRANCHISE INVESTMENT LAW (EXCERPT) Act 269 of 1974 445.1538 Violation; penalty; punishing crime under other statute. Sec.
38.A person who violates a provision of this act shall be fined not more than $10,000.00, or imprisoned for not more than 7 years, or both. Nothing in this act limits the power of the state to punish a person for any conduct which constitutes a crime under any other statute.
