CASINO INTEREST REGISTRATION ACT (EXCERPT) Act 74 of 1997 432.278 Violation of act or rules; duties of attorney general. Sec. 8. The attorney general upon investigation and determination that this act or a rule promulgated under this act was violated shall do either of the following:
(a)Initiate a civil action to enforce this act.
(b)Begin criminal prosecution for the imposition of criminal penalties provided by this act in the judicial district in which the alleged violation occurred.
