COMPULSIVE GAMING PREVENTION ACT (EXCERPT) Act 70 of 1997 432.256 Public funds for treatment of pathological gamblers; legislative intent. Sec.
6.It is the intent of the legislature to preserve the funds appropriated for the department of community health for the treatment of individuals pursuant to the mental health code, 1974 PA 258, MCL 330.1001 to 330.2106. Therefore, public funds for the treatment of pathological gamblers shall be taken exclusively from the compulsive gaming prevention fund.
