HORSE RACING LAW OF 1995 (EXCERPT) Act 279 of 1995 431.313 Contracts with certified horsemen's organizations. Sec. 13.
(1)A race meeting licensee shall have a current written contract with a certified horsemen's organization before it may conduct live or simulcast horse races with pari-mutuel wagering on the results of the races pursuant to its license.
(2)The racing commissioner shall register and certify all certified horsemen's organizations that had contracts with race meeting licensees in this state in 1995 or 1994 for the conduct of pari-mutuel racing at race meetings in this state during 1994 or 1995, and their successors or assigns as certified horsemen's organizations for purposes of this act.
